DOCKERY, SR.

Bishop Troy D. Dockery Sr., is the Senior Pastor of Greater Christ Temple of Stockton, Ca. where he served since 1992. Bishop Dockery worked in various aspects of the ministry and many capacities of the church such as: Youth Pastor, Assistant pastor, 1st assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor and served faithfully for 13 years as the lead Pastor of Morning Glory, Greater Christ Temple’s early morning 8 O’clock service.

                           

In May of 2004 in Albuquerque, NM, Bishop Dockery was elevated to the Office of District Elder in the California and Western States Council.

 

At the 2004 June session of the California and Western States Council, Bishop Dockery was elected as the Council Chairman which is the highest executive office next to the Diocesan Bishop.

 

In April 2008, after the passing of his Pastor and Bishop, Bishop Stallworth Sr., Bishop Dockery Sr. was named Senior Pastor of Greater Christ Temple Church of Stockton California.

 

In 2010, during the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, National Convention in St. Charles, Illinois, Bishop Dockery was elected by the Executive board of Bishops of the PC of AF, Intl. to be elevated to the office of Bishop-Elect over the United Northwest District Council.

 

During the 2011 National Convention of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, International in Orlando, Florida, Bishop Troy D. Dockery Sr. was consecrated into the esteemed office Bishop.

 

In 2014 Bishop Dockery was given the regional responsibility and oversight of the Western Regional States Council, which consist of the States of Arizona, New Mexico, and South/West Nevada.

 

On March 3rd during the 2023 LEAD Conference of the PCAFI in Indianapolis, Indiana, Bishop Dockery relinquished his Diocesan responsibilities of the WRSC Council (Now called the Greater Mountain States Conference), to become the Diocesan Bishop of the California Northwest District Council.

  • Bishop Dockery serves on the Presiding Prelate executive cabinet as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International.

  • He also serves as the Auxiliary Bishop of the International Christian Education Department of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International.

  • Bishop Dockery serves as an elected official and serves International body as the Asst. General Secretary.

 

 

Bishop Dockery holds a:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College

  • Master of Arts Degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University of Lynchburg, VA,

  • An Honorary Doctorate Degree from St. Thomas Christian College, Jacksonville, Fl.

  • Bishop Dockery is Leadership Trainer and leadership Coach with the John Maxwell Leadership Team.

 

He is married to his wife of 30 years to Dollye Stallworth-Dockery and together they have 2 children Troy D. Dockery Jr. (daughter in Law Jasmine Dockery) and Kayla Dockery and new granddaughter Brooklyn Reign Dockery.

 

Bishop Dockery counts it an honor and privilege to be named the successor to the Late Bishop Dr. Lewis D. Stallworth Sr. founder of the historical Greater Christ Temple Church of Stockton.
