Lily of the Valley Apostolic Temple
Lily of the Valley Apostolic Temple was founded in 1961, by Bishop Fabor Morgan, and his wife Glady Morgan.
The first building was located on Ivy Street in Monrovia and was nickednamed "The Sheepshed".
Bishop Morgan was a proud member of the Bethlehem Temple of Los Angeles, where Bishop William L. Smith was the pastor.
Lily of the Valley became a vibrant church under the leadership of Bishop Morgan. When Bishop Morgan went home to be with the Lord in 1985 Elder Nathaniel Brown was appointed Pastor.
Elder Brown along with his wife Evangelist Joerene Brown were members over 20 years before assuming the leadership of the church.
Lily of the Valley has been a faithful member of the PCAF and the CWSC, and have won many awards of honor and of financial contribution with the Council and is recognized for serving the Monrovia community for 56 years.
